Fitting either B or GT replacement windscreen is a tricky and time consuming process.

MGB

Windscreens can be replaced without the entire windscreen assembly replaced only if the top internal bracket threads are not seized. In most cases they are.

MGB GT

Another timely job with the filler strip and mouldings requiring a exact fit. However, the repro mouldings all require length modification of which insurance companies through a windscreen claim will only pay for screen replacement itself.
